Bikaner |On the occasion of National Sports Day and Major Dhyan Chand's birth anniversary, the sixth edition of 'Run for Fit Bikaana' is being organized in Bikaner on August 29. The main objective of this initiative is to build a cultured and drug-free society.
This walkathon will be organized under the joint auspices of Eklavya Foundation Rajasthan and Kreeda Bharti Bikaner.
Its purpose is to keep the youth away from drug addiction and inspire them to adopt sports, fitness, and a healthy lifestyle.
Walkathon Route
The walkathon route will pass through Kirti Stambh, Nagar Nigam, and in front of Junagarh, concluding at the Collectorate Circle. By running thousands of steps together, the city's residents will send a message of unity and health.
These Dignitaries Will Be Present
District Collector Nishant Jain, SP Mridul Kachhawa, DRM Gaurav Govil, and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Siddharth Palanichamy, along with many senior officials, will attend the event.
Officers from the army, police, and administration will also be part of this event. Additionally, Arjuna awardee Magan Singh Rajvi will also be present to encourage the participants.
A special felicitation ceremony will be held at the closing of the event.
In this, 11 talented players who have shown outstanding performance in various sports will be honored with the 'Bikaana Gaurav Award' to appreciate their contributions.
